The Time is Now!

I started this blogging journey right before I got pregnant with Cameron. Unfortunately, life got in the way and I never got into a routine. I look at my beautiful children, and realize that they are growing up faster than I could have ever imagined. I truly need a way to capture the precious things they say and do. I am making a commitment today to write at least once a week. Here we go...

Thankful!

I made Ryan this super cool mix tape for Valentine's Day. Let's be honest, it is actual a burned CD, but mix tape sounds more comical. It is amazing how songs can take you back to certain points in your relationship. I listened to it, and it really made me remember why I fell in love with the jerk! A little James Taylor, our first date/kiss/you know the story. Third Eye Blind- all the concerts that I dragged him to. Our wedding song, Kenny Chesney "Me and You", enough said. Kelly Clarkson, "Thankful," if I could sing this would be the song I sang to him at every karaoke place in town. It ended with our new song by Jason Mraz, "I'm Yours." The island vibe reminds me of all our Caribbean cruises.

I really feel like I had a perfect weekend. On Friday, I got to see the most of the family for my Grandma's 71st birthday. On Saturday, I got to see my BF's, and all the beautiful babies and handsome boys! On Sunday, I just hung out with my little family. We played outside, and then my all-star chef hubby made some yummy bbq pork. I swear he is trying to make me fat. When I closed my eyes last night, I couldn't have been happier!
